Welcome to the weekly wrapup of all Victorian Baseball news.
This week James and Frita talked to Aussie hurler Michael Nakamura fresh off a Japanese Series win with the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters.
After a brief stint in the major leagues with the Minnesota Twins and the Toronto Blue Jays, the Upwey native moved to Japan. This year he enjoyed his most successfull year to date, winning the championship, appearing in the Japanese All-Star game and representing the Japanese team against the touring major leaguers in November.
The boys also talked to New York Mets scout and Australian assistant coach Tony Harris.
The show also included a mid season review of the Div 1 standings as well as covering the rest of the local, state, national and international baseball news.
