Welcome to the weekly wrapup of all Victorian Baseball news.

This week James and Frita caught up with with former Major Leaguer Pat Kelly who currently lives in Australia and serves as a scout for the Seattle Mariners.

The boys also chatted to Mariners scout Barry Holland about his signing of Ryan Rowland-Smith, who made his Major League debut this week.

Along with all of the weeks state, national, international and Major League Baseball News, the winner of Baseball Victoria’s Presidential election was announced live on the show.

Special guests on line was the 2 candidates who have nominated for the position, the current President Peter Dihm, and John O’Halloran who is a current Board member of Baseball Victoria. Both gave a run down of their background and their outlook on the direction of Baseball in Victoria.

This week James and Frita caught up Brett Ward and they discussed the upcoming Major League Academy program that is starting shortly. The program is a yearly exercise and its held in Queensland.

Special guest on line was Minnesota Twins scout Howie Norsetter who discussed, in depth, the current state of the game in Australia.

The boys also caught up with Craig Malthouse who gave a perspective of the reasons Geelong was unable to enter a team at the recent VPBL tournament.

The boys also caught up with frita who was on the highway heading to the VPBL carnival in Mildura. In a truly rememberable moment, whilst live on air, the car frita was traveling in ran out of petrol 125 klms outside Mildura

Special guest on line was Justin Charles who was just recently appointed as a director of BV in the role of Business Development and Marketing.
