Baseball Radio Episode 38

Friday, July 20th, 2007

Welcome to the weekly wrapup of all Victorian Baseball news.

This week James and Frita spoke with Trevor Jarrett CEO of BJS Player Management. Trevor, the self confessed “Jerry Maguire of Australian Baseball”, discussed the ins and outs of whats happens when a player gets signed by a MLB club.

The boys also caught-up with Werribee coach Phil Balzer who recently spent some time at the Minnesota Twins extended spring training camp.

Also announced live on this weeks show was that the new coach of the Williamstown Wolves is Baseball Radio’s own David “skinny” Simpson.

As always, the show also covered all the latest baseball news from home and abroad.

The presenters of this weeks program are James Watson and Craig ‘frita’ Kernick. You can email the guys with questions for the broadcast at baseballradio@baseballvictoria.com.au

If you have an issue you want to discuss, call the studio on (03) 5996 6977 or send an sms on 0412 195 644. If you’re a podcaster and can’t listen live, call between 7-8pm each Friday night.
