Saturday, September 15th, 2007Welcome to the weekly wrapup of all Victorian Baseball news.
This week the James and Frita caught-up with ABF President Geoff Pearce. Geoff was currently in Brisbane where he has been meeting with representatives of the Nippon Professional Baseball League and he announced that an agreement has been signed that will see a series of games between the Japanese and Australian national teams. The matches will be played in Japan in November and it hoped that it will be a yearly event.
Geoff also spoke about the status of talks between the ABF and MLB with regards to the proposed National League and also discussed the new appointment of John May as CEO of the ABF and the busy schedule of the year ahead.
As always, the show also covered all the latest baseball news from home and abroad.
