Welcome to the weekly wrapup of all MLB and Australian Baseball news.
First off the boys caught up with Trevor Jarrett who is the CEO of BJS Player Management. Trevor, the self confessed “Jerry Maguire of Australian Baseball”, spoke at length about how the players managed by BJS are faring in MLB this season. Players discussed included Adam Blackley, Grant Balfour, Chris Snelling, Richard Thompson, Luke Hughes and Trent Oeltjen to name a few.
Next up the boys spoke with Phil Dale. Phil is the Australian scout for the Atlanta Braves and he provided the show with an update on the arm injury of Peter Moylan. Peter was recently put the 15 day disabled list.
As always, the show included the “Coach’s Rant” and the “Wood Duck” award and also covered all the latest baseball news from home and a wrap of this weeks Major League matches.
The presenters of this weeks program are Craig ‘frita’ Kernick and James Watson along with Jim “tiger” Hines on the panel. You can email the guys with questions for the broadcast at baseballradio@gmail.com
